Nigerian Tribune recalled that the suspected mad man on Monday, inflicted machete injury on two four-year-old boys while playing on the school field, which resulted to their deaths.
Adebisi who was arrested by local hunters in the area after about 72-hours from when he committed the crime, was later handed over to the Police, on Wednesday.
The mad man who was not coherent while responding to questions from journalists, said that his inability to feed himself for two weeks, necessitated his action.
Adebisi who claimed to be 28 years old, said he earned his living as a lesson teacher and collects N20 per child.
Asked why he killed the innocent pupils, the suspected mad man said, “I did not eat for two weeks and I went out to beg for money. Nobody gave me money. When I had money, I took care of family members, friends and even outsiders.
“It was due to frustration, it was due to frustration. When hunger gripped me and it became unbearable, I then thought about my life and I concluded and asked myself; what type of life am I living?
“It was a bad life, then I went and took cutlass and I was prepared to face the consequence.”
The State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, said the suspect would be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigation into the matter.
